Excellent quality flaxseed. The amount is substantial and a good bargain. When I broke my jaw, I had to be on a liquid diet for awhile. So I started making smoothies with ground flaxseed to up my fiber intake. I like to grind my own flax as I feel it retains more nutrients than the pre ground seeds. Wonderful to use in a blender.
As the package says, flax seeds are a nutritional superfood. The experts say it's better to buy the whole seeds and then grind them as you need them. I usually grind up enough to fill a jar and then refrigerate the ground seeds. The NOW version is organic, which is a plus and it seems to be gluten and soy free.
Great quality and packaging. I use only Organic flax seeds, organic is very important to me, no any added ingredients. It tastes good, good ingredient for my homemade crackers. Great source of healthy fats and omega 3. Lowers cholesterol, good for the heart, great for the skin and hair. I repurchase it very frequently. Highly recommend.
Good quality flaxseeds. It used to be good value for the pack size but it's gone up 60% since I bought it! However, most things have gone up, some significantly due to repercussions of the pandemic. I grind the seeds into powder as it's strongly advisable not take them whole due to digestive issues. I sprinkle them on cereal, add to smoothies and sometimes add to my matcha latte. It does settle in drinks so I just stir and drink. As it's a big pack, I kept it in the fridge so it stayed fresher.
