I took this to improve my eyesight because vitamin A is good for eyes. This product contains mixed carotenoids, astaxanthin, lycopene and beta-carotene rather than just vitamin A alone. As beta-carotene needs some fats, the organic extra virgin olive oil helps in better absorption. All very good ingredients for eye health in one capsule so there is no need to get individual capsules of lycopene or astaxanthin.

The pill is football shaped and a bit difficult for me to swallow. I have found that if I lightly chew it to soften--not enough to break it open--I can swallow it easily. I like that it contains carotenoids as well as A.

Good ingredients. Quality product. One of the best products for Vitamin A. It's almost impossible to get enough Vitamin A from food alone, because of soil depletion and other factors resulting from modern agricultural practices. Absolutely essential for health.
