I am suffering from extremely low thyroid as well as Hashimotos. I am taking 275 mg of Synsroid daily :( Feel weak and always exhausted I was skeptical about this medication, but desperation pushed me to get it. I am really happy I did! It's been just over a month and I am already seeing an improvement. I feel like I am waking up with a more clear mind (reduced brain fog) and I feel more energized now. My Endocrinologist is always pushing synthetic thyroid meds, but we have to be our own advocates, do research and take an improvement of our health in our own hands. I have a long way to go. Soon I will try to add a second capsule and will write an additional update.
Ive been looking for a safe product to help me with my underactive thyroid for years. I am constantly searching for quality glandular supplement; i have restrictive diet due to my age and hashimoto’s. Packaging is glass which is good; composition of ingredients is perfect and taste is neutral, i have noticed an improvement in my overall wellbeing; my only concern is that i became constipated after two days of taking this; dunno if it’s bec of this or another reason
I wasn’t able to get my regular brand of Thyroid-S, porcine thyroid, which I used for several years after gp give. Synthroid did diddly squat- for years. 2 decades and the GP refused to change me to a natural script. Also Thyroid-S cost an arm and a leg. About 350$ Canadian. Was ridiculous. I had given up. After this being suggested I gave it a shot. Well well well. It worked just as beautifully as my old brand. I do use this one now, daily, with the occasional lugols iodine on the inside of my elbow to make sure I have enough iodine in my body. I feel good. Depression lifted and weight came back off. Fabulous product without which I struggle to function. I believe it keeps my entire system on track. with quality natural ingredients that are self- levelling (according to the doctor) and in sufficient quantity that I never need run out. The benefits are enormous for someone with an erratic thyroid like mine. Thank you
I have been taking one pill daily immediately after a meal. I started about three weeks ago. I combine them with taking one pill of Emerald Labaratores Thyroid Health on empty stomach once a day. On my previous blood test the TSH level was 7.2 and now, the most recent test shows TSH of 4.9. I also feel more energetic and less tired. I highly recommend trying this preparation before going on hormone therapy.
This is an amazing high quality product, that's extremely potent so I would caution to start very slow. I tried half a capsule first, but felt that it was a bit much because on the 3rd day I could start to feel mild 'hyper' symptoms, so I eased off, and now take half a capsule every other day and will work my way up from there. Straight away I felt like I had more energy, less brain fog and could actually focus for the first time in months.
I've been using this product for a couple years now, and love that it's a natural and high quality option for over the counter raw thryoid. My only complaint is that I have no clue how much to take. I was taking 2-3 capsule a day, usually in the morning, sometimes with food and sometimes without, although I know thyroid meds should be taken an hour prior to eating. I haven't gotten my blood work done in awhile, but I definitely feel better while on these.
Was already taking a natural thyroid medication but over time it was becoming less effective due to continued deterioration of my thyroid functioning. MDs were reluctant to increase my script for fear of affecting the normal loss of mineralization in my bones. This has been a perfect solution as it complements my current regime and adjusts for my dwindling thyroid functioning without threatening bone loss. Biggest visible changes have been in my skin which is no longer dry and my hair which is shiny and thick once again. Hidden benefit is that I feel more energetic and much more like the old me. I take one capsule a day and that is enough to top off my current regime and enables me to work off some of the fat around my waist that I have been unable to turn into energy up until now. The scales may not show a big loss, but the tape measure tells another story. Great product.
