Fresh, aromatic, high quality. Just as I have come to expect from Frontier Co-Op. I love and buy a lot of their products. I use this in teas a lot, to sweeten things up a bit and get all the benefits. I usually use it in hibiscus tea, with some licorice root and cinnamon bark (all of which I get from Frontier Co-Op also). Big package, this is going to last for a long time. Fennel is a good digestive aid, that's why you'll find it at Indian restaurants (the better, more traditional ones) in little dishes on the counter. You're meant to chew on a few after your dinner to help digestion. Lots of other benefits to fennel seed you can research. I would highly recommend it, along with other Frontier Co-Op products.
I ordered the fennel seed as part of a concoction for an Asian brew meant to boost immunity and also help with candida. I was quite happy about the way it turned out with other herbs, such as licorice root, ginger, star, anise, and some other Asian herbs. It was also a tasty little treat in crunchy when you put some seeds in your mouth and reminded me of some desserts in Indian restaurants. It’s a wonderful herb! And the quality was fantastic!
Organic fennel is a vegetable that belongs to the carrot family and is known for its sweet anise or licorice-like flavor. It's commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine and has many health benefits, including improving digestion, relieving constipation, and reducing inflammation. I've used Fennel in salads, soups and stews as it can be consumed raw or cooked. The size and package are perfect.
Easy to take, bought those to supplement my diet in order to try and increase my milk supply without drinking tea 6 times a day. 😆 I have been taking these for 2 days now along with other supplements and it’s definitely working. The quality seems great, taking them with water is easy and I don’t taste anything. I also love buying bulk so I have plenty to use at any given time. Make sure you just package it good so it last long and doesn’t lose flavor or potency.
Good quality and fresh whole seed, you can taste the freshness. I like to use fennel seed as a smoothie ingredient. Helps with bloating. Seed can also be brewed as a tea, can add a sweet flavour if combined with other teas. Health benefits are may provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects.
