On the product it says "Shake well before use", but the product is almost too thick to squeeze a lump out of the bottle. I saw a picture of it on a blog, and it looked way different -- oily, runny. Does the product consistency vary so wildly? Why? The ingredients seem to be the same. It doesn't spread easily, but with some rubbing it is absorbed fairly quickly. There's a slight 'oily' look on my face after applying it, and it gets more obvious when sweating (if it's hot, and/or I make effort). But my skin seems to enjoy it: it becomes more radiant and smooth. However, I'm not sure about its sun protection qualities: compared to last summer, when I used a regular, 'chemical' SPF 30 lotion, I got a suntan surprisingly quickly on my face, arms and neck, which are exposed when I go about my wanderings through the city. Of course, my experience is not 'scientific', but I doubt this product has SPF 30 as stated on the label. A bad surprise was the presence of phenoxyethanol listed on the actual product label -- while the product overview on iherb says phenylethanol, and the label picture shows 'phenorethanol' (?!). Though it is the last ingredient on the list, I wonder what quantities are used, since there is no expiration date mentioned on the package. Would I buy it again? -- Not sure, maybe it's time to start making my own sun screen lotion/ oil, I would then know what I put in and in what quantities. July 2019 Edit: Bought it again last summer. Consistency was good this time, I didn't get sunburnt, and my skin enjoyed it. Adding one more star.
