I put off trying ANY Garcinia Cambogia products for quite awhile since I have a delicate bladder that can't tolerate acidic foods, etc. Anyway, I have high cholesterol and suffer from depression. This product is supposed to interfere with the absorption of fat and increase serotonin in the brain. So I figured it might help with my problems and if it caused a weight loss, well that would be a bonus. So I've been taking two capsules daily for about a month or so. I've noticed an increase in energy, feeling a little happier and a slight decrease in my appetite. I read today that another product recommends taking 1600mg daily. This product only recommends two capsules daily (for a total of 1000mg). So, I'm going to try three and see how that works. Haven't weighed myself, so I don't know if I've lost any weight yet, but I'm hopeful that I will eventually over time. I don't want to start a craze or anything, but my niece gives this (not sure which brand) to her moody teenager who has Asperger Syndrome. They call them her happy pills. That's what prompted my investigation into the effects of this product. I think if you have a depressed or moody teenager, this might be preferable to anti depressants. Anti depressants kind of numb a person out to where you can't feel your emotions or really even have dreams. This does not do that. Hope this helps someone out there!
