Smells like a lemon candy. The smell is very subtle and dissipates after a few hours. The lotion is thin but a little goes a long way. It absorbs quickly but is very hydrating and makes my skin so soft. Also, for those of you dealing with keratosis pilaris, this lotion has helped me A LOT. I wasn’t expecting that, I think is because it actually hydrates my skin rather than just sit on top. My skin is a lot softer and the bumps and roughness diminished like by half since I started using it.

Impressed with the lightly scented cream that does not feel oily and heavy. My skin improved with just one application. To be honest, I bought it to try as I love the company's philosophy and was determined to support by trying all their products. The second reason was that I love the natural and simple compositions. And the third reason, honestly, it the size of the bottle, almost 1l, with a good price (not all their products have a justified price in my opinion). My skin feels very moisturized and almost wet, and it is very quickly absorbed. Still, I had to add a some vegetable oils in it as for my dry skin, I like it to be also very emollient (maybe more than necessary). I wish they have more scents of the same products, and maybe another one that is a little more emollient that this one (for actual very dry skin, as I feel that this is more for a normal or moderately dry skin=. but overall, I am satisfied with the product and will repurchase it for sure.

I love how clean the ingredients are and how moisturizing it is. I would not market it for extra dry skin though. It is very moisturizing and feels light on the skin. Not greasy at all. I use this on my whole family. It's good for your face even if you have sensitive skin.

Alaffia is a trusted brand and I love the quality of this lotion. My favorite is their lavender Shea lotion. One note about the smell. It has a pleasant citrus-coconut smell. But the smell is long-lasting. So if you don’t love coconut lime, you may get tired of the strong smell. I find it pleasant, but other reviewers thought it was too strong. So keep that in mind ;)

I bought this lotion since the former one was stopped :( The scent is very nice, but not enough limey for my taste. The lotion absorbs fast and moisture the skin. I used it in winter too, and it gave enough moisture even though it's a lotion. My skin is normal. Overall, the quantity is great for the price and it's a good product.

I like this lotion for so many reasons, like the natural and ethically sourced ingredients, the company's advocacy, etc. But the best part was the scent. I really liked it. The formula of the lotion is lightweight so it dries quickly and it doesn't get sticky. However, I do not think it is that hydrating. I would still use a thicker and more moisturizing lotion on days when the skin is more prone to dryness.

This product no doubt has great ingredients. Its light moisturizing property, coupled with faint smell of coconut left on skin for a really long time (almost 12 hours), has converted me a fan. It's not greasy at all, absorbs really fast when applied after shower. Its tiny price as compared to the size and quality makes it a huge plus. I'll definitely repurchase once this bottle runs out.
