Sometimes vitamin C can be irritating on the tummy, but these are not at all irritating - not even on an empty stomach. They are large thin disks, that are pretty tart, a tiny bit chalky but the tartness helps with that because it get your saliva going! I break it off in three bites when I take it, but my kids (and a couple friends I've given one to) stick the whole thing in their mouth. They actually resemble a certain famous candy and we all really like them. I do believe they work. Whenever I'm starting to feel physically run down, i.e. getting a tight chest, or sore throat, extra tired, or someone near by has come down with a cold, we're sure to eat a couple of these a day and so far we've managed to stay healthy the whole winter season.
My 1 year old often gets a diaper rash due to food allergies, and I wanted an alternative to the zinc product so I bought this. However, within 10 seconds of me spraying this on her bottom, she jumps straight into the air and wails!!! It apparently hurts her when I apply it (spray it). She only knows about 10 words, and explaining her pain is not yet in her vocabulary =) So, until I get a rash and try it on myself, I definitely won't be making her go through that again. Anyway, the smell is another reason why I won't be using it. It smells VERY VERY strong of FISH. And the smell lasts and lasts for ever, until the clothing is washed or the baby has another bath. The smell just gets into everything. And the last thing a female wants is to smell of FISH =)

I've been buying this for my 13 month old for about 3 months now. I'm pregnant again and my supply severely diminished because of it, so because my other children have had tummy issues with dairy and gluten and soy, I first tried my then 10 month old on the sensitive formulas like Nutramigen and Alimentum, but they made him sooo sick! I looked into non dairy formulas like the Holle goat milk formulas and such but they are so expensive and I couldn't guarantee that they wouldn't make him sick as well. Then I found this one and jumped on it! My baby likes the flavour and has no problems with the texture, which is grainy. I've found that heating the water first and then adding the formula and letting it sit for 20 minutes helps with the chalky graininess but does NOT get rid of it.. But as I said, my 13 month old doesn't mind at all. I have had problems finding a bottle/cuppy to use to feed him this stuff. We've used the Como Tomo bottles for a few year now (with our other children too) but the small chunks in the formula would instantly block the nipple hole. So I purchased the nipple with the "Y" cut in it which worked very well... but only for about a week. Then the large particles in this formula tore the silicone nipples apart making the small "y" cut more like a gaping hole I could put my finger through. We though it was just a defective nipple, so we purchased 4 more and had the company send us replacements as well, but the same thing happened with each and every one of them within a week. We now use a Philips sippy cup with a silicone drinking nipple/spout that has just a basic slit in it, and it's been holding up very well for the past 2 months. I also find that it seems to be dehydrating to him. The first month he started using it, his breath smelled funky, sometimes like corn, and his urine was dark and smelly. So now I make sure he gets almost 2 sippy cups of water a day and those problems have gone away.
I have used all the Earthpaste flavours, but cinnamon was our least favourite because we were expecting something resembling Cinnamon hearts or something. It tastes more like cloves, maybe - because it's not sweet at all and has an earthy taste to it. I'm still going to use it and I don't mind it, mostly because I brush my teeth to clean them, not to eat dessert, but the kids won't use it as they prefer the Wintergreen and the Lemon.
The taste is more than I can tolerate. It is SOOO chlorine-y and salty. I tried to really dilute it in a couple cups of water. NOPE! Yuck. Tried to take it as a shot, 4 mls in an ounce of water followed by a chaser of water or juice. NOPE. I just couldn't. It's just too much chlorine tasting for me. Perhaps if I had have stuck with it long enough to notice 'health improvements' I could have maybe kept going with the 'shot and chaser' method, but I didn't. Instead, I figured I drink enough water during the day, and ended up adding only 1 - 2 mls (not the recommended 4 mls) to a pitcher of water in my fridge that I refill once or twice a day. Ok! WOW! It makes the water go down soooooo easily and soooo smooth. Instead of water being a 'chore' to drink, water is now enjoyable! I love to drink water now, it's so soft and smooth with the Ionic Magnesium added to the pitcher in the fridge. I will definitely continue to reorder this!
I always have these on hand. They are tart and smooth and almost a bit creamy. They taste fruity with a mainly strawberry or cherry flavour. I'm certain they are keeping our colds at bay. We take more or less than one 'wafer' depending on the need. By the way, each 'wafer' is pretty big, they are probably as round as the bottom of a bathroom Dixie cup.

I keep this in stock because it is dairy, gluten, and soy free and therefor does NOT make matters worse. My family takes it with meals that cause us some stomach upsets like pizza and rich desserts or the rare occasion we eat out or get fast food. All it takes is one pill before the first bite of an offending food and it seems to reduce the undesirable side effects quite substantially.

I hesitate to write a good review for fear this product will sell out! In the jar, it looks like a strange creamy orange oily vaseline paste or something, but if you swirl your finger tip gently around the pot on the surface, and then pat it around your undereye, it magically transforms into a beautiful creamy dewy cover up. I have really dark under eyes, so much so that without some type of concealer on, people actually think I'm sick, and I find this stuff has just enough coverage. I like the fresh and dewy effect it gives, but if you don't like that look you could always just pat it with a bit of powder, that would help seal it in for longer wear too I would think. It doesn't stay on as long as others but I can definitely look past that for all it's other benefits. My only concern is that I can NOT find an ingredients list anywhere, not on the product or packaging, not the internet. That's a bit concerning, isn't it?
Endless drops for an excellent price. The ingredients (and especially the lack of ingredients!) make this a must have for all ages. The taste is very mild compared to other drops I've used.
